Show the whole square grid
Keep every row, column, border, colored region, and visible starter cat inside the image.
Use a clear, upright image
Avoid motion blur, glare, heavy compression, and a board photographed at a steep angle.
Crop anything that covers the board
Status bars and ads can stay outside the crop, especially when they overlap the grid edge.
Correct recognition before solving
If a region or starter cat is wrong, use Color or Play mode to fix it before requesting a hint.

Why those X marks are safe
A cat controls its full row and column, and another cat cannot touch it, even diagonally. Together those rules eliminate B2, C2, D2, B3, D3, B4, C4, and D4 without guessing.

Does my screenshot leave the browser?
No. Screenshot recognition runs locally in your browser, so the puzzle image does not leave your device.
What board sizes does the solver support?
Screenshot recognition currently supports square boards from 4×4 through 11×11. A 12×12 board is not supported yet.
Can it solve daily or endless Meowdoku boards?
Yes, when the complete board is visible in a clear screenshot and its size is within the supported 4×4–11×11 range. The solver reads the board itself instead of looking up a level number.
What should I do if the board is recognized incorrectly?
Review the generated board before solving. Use Color mode to repaint a region and Play mode to correct cats or X marks, then request a new hint.
What is the difference between Hint and Auto Solve?
Hint returns one proven next move. Auto Solve keeps applying proven moves and records the reasoning in the Thinking Log. If it cannot prove another move within its safe search limit, it pauses instead of guessing.
When should I use Level Answers instead?
Use Level Answers when your board matches one of the fixed Level 1–200 walkthroughs. Use the screenshot solver for your current board, daily or endless play, or a level that differs from the guide.
