Privacy Policy

The solver remains browser-first. Analytics follows a country-based consent rule and can always be switched off; external videos stay off until allowed.

What this policy covers

This policy explains the information handled when you use Meowdoku Guide, including its browser-based solver and practice puzzles, Google Analytics, optional YouTube videos, email support, and links to external services. The site currently has no user accounts or on-site contact form. If you choose to email support, you provide your address and message through your email service rather than through a form hosted on this site.

We ask for consent before optional analytics where the visitor's region requires it. In other regions, limited Analytics measurement is enabled by default with an always-available opt-out. External media always remains off until allowed. Browser storage that is necessary to remember language, puzzle progress, and privacy choices is used to provide the features you request.

Screenshot solver images

Images selected for the Meowdoku screenshot solver are processed locally in your browser. The current solver does not upload those screenshots to our server or store a copy after you leave the page.

Recognition uses browser image and canvas features to identify the grid, colored regions, and starter cats.

Necessary browser storage

Practice completion records, best times, mistake counts, and unfinished boards are saved in your browser's local storage so you can continue later. Your language preference and privacy choices are also stored locally. A dismissed product notice may be remembered for the current browser session.

This information is not sent to our server, does not sync across devices, and remains until it is replaced or you clear this site's browser data. Blocking necessary storage may prevent these preferences or progress from being remembered.

Google Analytics

Google Analytics (measurement ID G-5HS1F9TWS6) is optional and can be switched off at any time. Before loading it for a new visitor, the site asks a same-origin Cloudflare Pages Function whether prior consent is required for the visitor's country. Visitors identified in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland are shown the privacy choices panel and the Analytics tag stays off until they allow it. Outside those regions, Analytics loads by default unless a saved choice has disabled it. If the country cannot be identified or the lookup fails, Analytics remains off and the panel is shown.

Cloudflare derives a two-letter country code from the request IP address at its network edge. The endpoint returns the country decision to the browser with no-store caching; this site does not write that country code to local storage or keep a separate server log of it. The regional rule is a cautious technical default, not a guarantee that no other local requirement applies.

When Analytics is off, this site does not send analytics requests to Google. Advertising storage, advertising user data, and ad personalization signals remain denied even when Analytics is on.

If you allow Analytics, Google may receive information such as the page URL and referrer, IP address, approximate location derived from the IP address, browser and device details, interaction events, and cookie or similar identifiers. Google may place or read analytics cookies such as _ga. We use aggregated reports to understand visits and improve the guide; we do not intentionally send names, email addresses, or solver screenshots to Google Analytics.

Google processes this information under its own terms and privacy practices. Read how Google uses information from partner sites and the Google Privacy Policy.

YouTube, Gumroad, and external services

Optional YouTube embeds are blocked until you allow External media. If you allow them, the browser loads the video from YouTube's privacy-enhanced domain. Google or YouTube may still receive the page URL, IP address, browser and device information, and may use cookies or other identifiers according to its policies.

Opening a YouTube link or another third-party website takes you directly to that service. Its privacy policy and settings apply independently of your choice on this site.

The Buy button opens a checkout hosted by Gumroad. Contact, transaction, payment, and technical information entered at checkout is collected by Gumroad and its payment providers, not through this site's pages. Gumroad may provide the seller with buyer and order information needed for delivery, customer support, accounting, and legal obligations. Review the Gumroad Privacy Policy before purchasing.

Email support

If you email service@meowdokupuzzles.com, the site operator and the email services used by you and the operator receive your email address, subject, message, attachments, and normal technical email headers. This information is used to answer support, purchase, licensing, permissions, or legal requests and to protect the service from abuse.

Support messages are kept only as long as reasonably needed for the conversation, related records, security, accounting, or legal obligations. Do not send passwords, full payment card numbers, or sensitive personal information that is not needed for the request.

Advertising and Google AdSense

Google AdSense code with publisher client ca-pub-1061927280123255 is installed for site verification and potential ad delivery. Ads may not appear until Google completes its review. The current first-party privacy choices panel does not request advertising consent or claim to be a Google-certified advertising CMP.

If Google approves the site for advertising, third-party vendors, including Google, may place and read cookies, use web beacons, IP addresses, or other identifiers to serve and measure ads. Google's advertising cookies may allow Google and its partners to serve ads based on visits to this site and other sites. Other authorized ad vendors or networks may use their own cookies and opt-out mechanisms.

Users can control personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings. Before serving AdSense ads to users in the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland, the site operator must publish a Google-certified CMP that integrates with the applicable IAB Transparency and Consent Framework. The site's current first-party preference panel does not replace that account-level requirement.

Your privacy choices

In the EEA, the UK, Switzerland, and unknown locations, optional services are off until you make a choice. Elsewhere, Analytics is on by default while External media remains off. Select Privacy choices in the footer at any time to allow, reject, or withdraw Analytics and External media. Withdrawing Analytics updates Google's consent state, removes accessible first-party Google Analytics cookies, and reloads the page without the Analytics tag.

You can also clear this site's browser data, block cookies in your browser, manage your Google account settings, or install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Sharing, retention, and international processing

The site does not sell personal information. Local puzzle data and preferences stay in your browser. If you allow a Google service, information is shared directly with Google for that service and may be processed in countries where Google operates. Analytics event retention is governed by the Google Analytics property configuration and Google's policies; this site does not keep a separate server-side copy of those analytics events.

Buyer and order information made available through Gumroad is used for purchase fulfillment, delivery, customer support, accounting, fraud prevention, and legal obligations, and is retained according to those purposes and applicable requirements. Full payment card details are handled by Gumroad and its payment providers rather than this site.

We may disclose information if required by law or necessary to protect the site, users, or the public. Because the current site has no account or direct submission system, it does not maintain an on-site user profile that can be downloaded or corrected through the site.

Children and policy changes

This general-audience guide is not designed to collect personal information from children. If you are below the age at which you can make privacy choices in your country, ask a parent or guardian to make those choices with you.

We will update this policy when data practices materially change. The latest revision date appears at the top of this page. A new consent decision may be requested when the available purposes or services change.
